Get ready to experience something truly special!
Buena Semilla will bring you a Women’s Circle like no other: a Women’s Circle attended by YOU, other SISTERS from around the world AND 15 Maya indigenous women of Guatemala.
What's even more magical is that this year, the day before International Women's Day falls on a full moon AND on day 1 Q’anil of the the Maya Cholq’ij calendar (see below) , making it the perfect time to …
honor our ancestral practices from North and South,
lay aside all that keeps us from showing up in our full presence when we come together from across borders in sisterhood,
tap into our deepest desires for this world,
and seed action into being
- just in time for International Women’s Day on the following day, March 8th.
We are so excited to celebrate this powerful moment with you!
This is a one-off event that you won't want to miss!
So gather your sisters, friends, and anyone who is ready to gather to co-create what it means to connect with one another on a deeper level, share our stories, and weave a different world into being - across North-South borders and in sisterhood.
Why we do this
The women's circle is a space where women from all walks of life can come together to embrace the unifying power of womanhood. By acknowledging and overcoming the struggles that we all share as women, we become stronger and more empowered as individuals and as a community.
The women's circle is more than just a place to talk about supporting one another; it is a space for action and transformation. Through deep connections, clear communication, and uplifting one another, we cultivate a supportive and inspiring environment for growth in all areas of life.
Join us in weaving a tapestry of sisterhood, where we celebrate each other's triumphs and hold each other in high regard. By becoming part of this powerful movement of women who are transforming each other's lives, you'll find yourself surrounded by a community of growth and empowerment. The women's circle awaits you, ready to welcome you with open arms.
* March 7 2023 is day 1 Q’anil in the Cholq’ij calendar - a 260-day calendar transmitted by the Mayan ajq'ijab' (timekeepers) for thousands of years and in continued use today.
Q’anil is one of 20 Maya nahuales that cycle within the Cholq’ij calendar. Each nahual represents the wisdom, energy and spirits of Nature, as well as the strength of the beings of the earth and its elements. Q'anil is the seed, planting, germination, life, creation, love. It is the symbol of the regeneration of the earth, of rebirth after Death. It also represents seeding of the four seeds into the earth, representing the four colors of maize and also the 4 “races” of humanity: red, black, white, yellow.
