This year we are launching several unique courses you will not want to miss — opportunities to learn directly from Mayan women and men living in Guatemala, and engage in meaningful, reciprocal and open exchanges and dialogues.

Upcoming course offerings

Weaving our hearts together

Mayan artists will share about the ancestral meaning behind Maya weaving, and how it is interwoven with identity and resistance. We will then learn how to weave the Mayan way, using the backstrap. Our individual pieces will be joined together into a collective piece, symbolizing unity, reciprocity and harmony.

Living by the Mayan calendar

Maya spiritual guides (ajq'ij) will share about the significance of the Mayan calendar, and the roles they hold as time keepers within their communities - and how they have survived centuries of attempts to eradicate their knowledge and practices. Following this introduction, we will walk the 20 days of the Mayan calendar together, offering you each day a meditation and exercise or ritual that is aligned with the day’s energy, or nahual.

I Offer You My Heart

Space of dialogue and exchange between the “global north” and the “global south” aiming to deconstruct our limiting beliefs and all that divides us and keeps us separate, and collectively build a different way of being together, based in mutual understanding, appreciation, gratitude, and reciprocity. It will be a deep dive experience that will likely shake a few things up!

Co-creating collective spaces for individual and community healing and wellbeing, including Women’s and Men’s Circles

Seven part workshop and group coaching on co-creating participatory collective interventions within and with marginalized populations that will offer you a road-map to genuine community engagement and mobilization for the wellbeing of all.
